On My Own, 2022-

I have created this series using a photoshop technique called compositing, where I take multiple images of myself within a scene and then mask them into the scene they are taken in. Having multiples of myself reflects the changes of the self through a moment in time, whether it be physical presentation, emotional expression or reactions. Beyond the nuances of the self, these orchestrated tableaus have an ambiguity about them that hints at a group of friends. This emphasizes the importance of platonic intimacy and the balance of personality.
